Chapter 7 — Parsing the Structure: Levels That Matter
This is the chapter that establishes the framework's structural map. The full taxonomy of GEX-derived levels — gamma top, gamma bottom, the resistance and support zones, the danger zones, the pin, the call wall, the put wall — lives here. Each level has a name, a derivation, a structural meaning, and a specific role in the entry and exit logic the framework runs.
The chapter also introduces the day's magnitude reads — the Expected Move forecast, the Realized Move consumption, and the ratio between them — and integrates them with the structural levels so the trader reads where the structure is and how much room the day has left to move, in a single glance.
Roughly five thousand words, with two figures inline. Reading time about twenty-five minutes. Together with the rest of the book, this chapter is what a trader uses to make sense of an SPX 0DTE session before the first decision is made.
